Fast and Friendly Return Policy

At Diamond Home Improvement, our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will return your purchase within 90 days of purchase based on the guidelines and exceptions below.

Returns with a Receipt within 90 Days of Purchase

Purchases made with cash, debit card, credit card or Diamond card: You will receive a refund in the same manner as the purchase. Cash refunds are subject to cash availability. Refunds exceeding the availability will be issued by check.

Purchases made with a check: You will be issued a store credit within 15 days of your purchase. After 15 days a cash refund will be issued subject to cash availability. Refunds exceeding the availability will be issued by check.

Purchases made with a gift card or store credit: You will be issued a store credit.

Purchases made on account will be credited to your in-house account.

Returns without a Receipt or After 90 Days

Returns without a receipt or after 90 days may be accepted at the sole discretion of Diamond. If accepted, an in-store credit will be issued based on the lowest price the item sold for in the last 90 days. Store credits may be subject to a 24 hour hold period. A driver’s license or state issued ID is required for all returns without a receipt. ID must be presented when redeeming a store credit and must match ID used when issued. Store Credits are “Non Transferrable” and have no cash value.

Sorry, no Returns will be given for the Following Products:

Gift cards, store credits, installation services, delivery services, custom made products, custom tinted paint, cut items, perishable goods and merchandise sold “As Is” or “No Returns” will not be accepted for return.

Exceptions Concerning Your Return or Exchange

Special Orders

Special Order items are generally not eligible for return. Where permitted by the supplier, Special Order merchandise accepted for return will incur a minimum 25% restocking fee. Cancellations may be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

Building Materials

Lumber, plywood, roofing, drywall and other building materials may be returned with a receipt within 30 days of original purchase and must be in original sellable condition. Return price will be the lower of purchase price or current market price. All building materials must be returned to the yard for a “Yard Merchandise Return” slip prior to processing refund.


Diamond guarantees all trees and shrubs for one year from date of purchase. A receipt is required for refund or exchange. Diamond Home Improvement is not responsible for replacement of improperly planted and or poorly maintained trees or shrubs.

Gas Powered Items

Gas Powered items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with a receipt if the item has not been used, in original package, and no gas or oil was put into the item. If the equipment fails due to manufacturing defects the customer must take to an authorized service center to be repaired according to the manufactures warranty. If not under warranty, repair is at customer’s expense. Please do not bring defective gasoline powered equipment to the store for repair; you will be referred to the nearest authorized service center.

Seasonal Items

Seasonal such as Air Conditioners, Heaters, Paint Sprayers, BBQ’s, Stoves and Holiday merchandise will be refunded or exchanged for the purchase price if returned within 14 days of original purchase with a receipt. After 14 days, if the item is on clearance, the clearance price will be given.

Clearance Items

Clearance items will be refunded if returned within 7 days of original purchase with a receipt. No returns on final clearance or items sold “As Is” or “No Returns”.

Diamond Home Improvement reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason.
